I made my sitar playing debut along with 70 other students at Convocation Hall in Edmonton this week. Our sitar group performed Raga Bhopali together, and we made lots of new friends! There were also tabla, harmonium and vocal performances in Rajasthani, Devotional and Qawwali styles. We had a lot of fun preparing, rehearsing, performing and eating together…thanks to all of the tutors at Indian Music Academy for all of their hard work, and to the University for hosting us!

Thank you to Chateau Mission Seniors Home for hosting us for the last time this evening…They gave us a thank you card signed by all the residents and a very generous cheque for our Polaris autistic and aspergers Scouts fund!
