A productive day of music-making today… I presented a Christmas ukulele melody workshop at Festival Place, Sherwood Park, then led Dominelli School Ukulele Orchestra at a Christmas party in Spruce Grove.

On Friday, Kyle and I travelled to Calgary for 2019’s #MusicConferenceAlberta. Our presentation at Hilton Garden Inn, “Ukulele All Year Round” was delivered to a standing-room only audience of music teachers from all over Alberta.

Kyle and I presented ukulele workshops to over 120 students at St Albert Library as part of Alberta Culture Days. In the evening Dominelli School’s Ukulele Orchestra performed at Bohemia, a club in downtown Edmonton…A busy day!

Music For Wellness qualification

In May 2019, I completed an online course in Music for Wellness, a music therapy qualification. I just remembered that it was a certificated course, and received my qualification from Berklee College of Music!

Sunday 18th August – Woodstock 50th Anniversary Celebrations in Alberta – “Woodstuke”
