Thanks to Sturgeon Composite High School for the invite to teach the guitar class today. We looked at a couple of Johnny Cash songs, and I stuck around to play some u-bass for the ukulele group’s lunch-time performance.

Kyle and I performed a set for Calgary Ukulele Festival on Saturday. We were joined by four other Calgary-based performers. It was nice to finally have a concert to play, as we have barely played since COVID started!

On Friday morning Kyle Swenson and I presented “Ukulele in 6/8 times” for 2021’s online NCTCA Teachers Convention. We had around 90 school music teachers join us for the session, as we shared ideas for ukulele learning in the classroom.
